Diamond Beach, known to locals as the “jewel of the coast” is situated on the Mid North Coast of NSW, just over a 3-hour drive North of Sydney. Diamond Beach itself is an impressive 6-kilometer beach, ideal for surfing, horse-riding, walking the dog, or just enjoying a leisurely stroll in the morning with your coffee in-hand. ​ You rarely come to Diamond Beach without partaking in Dolphin watching. They are frequent visitors to the locals of Diamond Beach and you will often see them joining in with the surfers and catching some waves. As well as Dolphins, during the winter months Diamond Beach also plays host to the magnificent Humpback Whale as it migrates North in search of warmer waters. ​ The neighbouring beach, Black Head, is just around the corner from Diamond Beach and here locals can also surf, kayak and swim in the local rock pool. This beach is patrolled so perfect for children, and there is a lifesaving club and bowling club. Edgewater Shores offers a family friendly environment with the residential subdivision positioned within walking distance to Hallidays Point Public School and moments south of Khappinghat Nature Reserve which extends all the way to Wallaby's Point.
